SOCAR increases oil production year-on-year

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In November, 2014, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 683,300 tonnes of oil, down 0.84% in comparison to a year earlier, 3.61% to a month earlier.

In January, 2014, the production made 715,400 tonnes, February – 651,700 tonnes, March – 741,600 tonnes, April – 686,200 tonnes, May – 715,900 tonnes, June – 687,400 tonnes, July – 709,700 tonnes, August – 710,100 tonnes, September – 686,800 tonnes, 708,900 tonnes in October.

In January-November, total oil production stood at 7,697,000, up 0.83% by contrast to a year ago.

In November, totally 2,779,200 tonnes of oil were produced in the country, down 19.2% from 2013.

Oil production made 3,639,200 tonnes in January, 3,622,500 tonnes in February, 3,622,500 tonnes in March, 3,632,500 tonnes in April, 3,707,800 tonnes in May, 3,483,900 tonnes in June, 3,708,200 tonnes in July, 3,644,200 tonnes in August, 3,469,000 tonnes in September and 2,779,200 tonnes in October.

Totally, 38,899,000 tonnes of oil were produced in January-November, down 2.53% by contrast to 2013.
