Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzade - APA. “I attended the Advisor Council of the Southern Gas Corridor in Baku. Of course, each country should contribute to this project. Georgia has invested $800 mln in this project”, Georgian Deputy Prime Minister, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze told APA’s Georgian bureau.

According to him, Georgia will do its best for successful completion of this project: “There was a little problem in Georgian side. Though we faced a land problem, we solved it. BP wanted to buy a land plot. This issue has already been solved”.

Georgian Minister also spoke about the significance of the project: “Shahdeniz 2 is interesting and important not only for Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, but also for European countries. Moreover, AGRI, TAP, TANAP are very interesting projects. We’ll fulfil every task laying ahead and these projects will be realized”, Kakha Kaladze said.

He also commented on safety of transit projects passing through Georgia: “Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan are jointly working in this direction.
