In the first quarter of this year, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) earned 2 183,5 million manats from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block and the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field (from the sale of gas and condensate), which is 15,85% less in annual comparison, APA reports, citing SOFAZ's quarterly report.
The fund received 2.0016 million manats from the ACG field and 181.9 million manats from the Shah Deniz field during the reporting period.
It should be noted that compared to the same period in 2024, these figures have decreased by 18,7% and increased bt 36,3%, respectively.
According to the report, in January–March 2025, SOFAZ's total revenues from oil and gas agreements amounted to 3.0172 million manats, including 2.2519 million manats from the sale of profit oil and gas, and 765.3 million manats from bonus payments and transit revenues.
