Production of chemical industry products in Azerbaijan increased by 12% -TABLE

In January–June of this year, products worth 1,112.3 million manats were produced in the fields of chemical industry, pharmaceutical products, and the manufacture of rubber and plastic goods in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.

According to the report, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 95.2%, the production of chemical industry products by 11.7%, and the manufacture of rubber and plastic goods by 4.4%.

It is noted that among chemical industry products, the production of polyethylene increased by 10.9%, paint and varnish products by 9.9%, ethylene production by 8%, and urea production by 3.3%.
