Kazakhstan is not considering the option of withdrawing from the OPEC+ agreement (an initiative to reduce oil production by OPEC and non-OPEC countries) on voluntary restrictions on oil production, said Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, APA-Economics reports citing TASS.

According to him, the country considers this agreement useful for ensuring stability in the oil market and tries to fulfill its obligations to the maximum extent, although this is not always possible.

“At the current stage, we are not considering the option of withdrawing from the OPEC+ agreement. We believe that this agreement is useful and, to some extent, helps to ensure stability in the oil market. Therefore, this issue is not under discussion,” the Prime Minister noted.

Recall that Azerbaijan is also a participant in the OPEC+ agreement.
