"Entry of Azerbaijani natural gas into the Bulgarian gas market is very important for us," Ivan Ivanov, Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission of Bulgaria (KEVR) told journalists after the signing ceremony of the Memorandum on the supply of Azerbaijani gas through Solidarity ring, APA's correspondent to Bulgaria reports.
"This morning, Bulgartransgaz prepared the documents for granting a license for SOCAR company of Azerbaijan to be able to sell natural gas in the territory of Bulgaria. This is very important for us, first of all, the volume of supply increases and at the same time, competition between supply companies in the Bulgarian gas market is created," he said.
