The International Energy Agency (IEA) has lowered its forecast for the growth rate of daily global oil demand for 2025-2026, APA-Economics reports, citing International Energy Agency (IEA).
According to the report, global oil demand in 2025 will increase by a total of 680,000 barrels per day, which is 20,000 barrels less than the previous forecast (700,000 barrels).
At the same time, the Agency has also reduced its forecast for the same indicator for 2026 by 20,000 barrels to 700,000 barrels.
It is noted that the forecast for this year was reduced due to weaker-than-expected demand in countries outside the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
