Industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan produced 15.8 billion manats worth of industrial goods in January- March 2025, marking a 2.7% decrease compared to the same period last year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, production in the oil and gas sector decreased by 3.6%, while in the non-oil and gas sector, it decreased by 3.5%.
62.4% of industrial production came from the mining sector, 30.3% from the manufacturing sector, 6.4% from the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, and 0.9% from the water supply, waste treatment, and disposal sector.
"In the mining sector, crude oil production decreased by 5.5%, while natural gas production increased by 1.1%," the report states.
