In Azerbaijan, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this sector produced industrial products worth 31.2 billion manat in January-June 2025, or 1.9 percent less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
Production in the oil and gas sector decreased by 3.1 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 6.3 percent.
The data indicates that 61.8 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 31.6 percent in the processing sector, 5.6 percent in the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, and 1 percent in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector.
“It is noted that commodity oil production in the mining sector decreased by 5.3 percent, while commodity gas production increased by 1.1 percent,” the information states.
