In January-July of this year, 15,639.5* kW/h of electricity was produced in Azerbaijan, which is an increase of 2.6% compared to the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, 15,109.9 kW/h of electricity produced in the country during the reporting period fell to commodity products (an increase of 2.6%).
The largest share of electricity produced in the country - 12,668.6 kW/h - fell to thermal power plants, which is 0.9% less than the figure for January-June 2024.
It should be noted that the rest of the electricity produced in Azerbaijan in the first half of the current year was obtained from hydroelectric power plants, as well as from other alternative and renewable energy sources.
