"According to operational data for the first quarter of this year, electricity generation in Azerbaijan amounted to 7171.8 million kWh, exports to 385 million kWh, and imports to 35.7 million kWh," Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said in a post on X platform, APA-Economics reports.
"According to operational data for the first quarter of this year, electricity generation amounted to 7171.8 million kWh, exports to 385 million kWh, and imports to 35.7 million kWh. 853.5 million kWh electricity was generated from renewable energy sources, including hydropower plants with an increase of 243.9 mln. kWh," Minister said.
