This year, Georgia plans to import 3.34 billion cubic meters of natural gas, APA’s local bureau reports, citing Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
According to the approved natural gas balance for the current year, 2.92 billion cubic meters, or 87.4%, of this volume will be supplied by Azerbaijan.
Of the supply, 1.6452 billion cubic meters will come from the Shah Deniz field, and 1.281 billion cubic meters will be supplied by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
The volume of natural gas that Georgia will receive from Russia will be 400 million cubic meters, while 14.05 million cubic meters will come from domestic production.
