# 11 April 2025 12:30 (UTC +04:00)

With the exception of incandescent lamps intended for special use in production processes and products whose main purpose is not lighting, electric incandescent lamps with a power of 25 W or more that can be used for lighting in an alternating current circuit, which are the direct object of an administrative offense, will be confiscated, and officials will be fined from one thousand to one thousand five hundred manats, and legal entities will be fined from three thousand to four thousand manats, this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

According to the proposal, if the same violation is repeated within one year from the date when the administrative penalty decision is enforced, the electric incandescent lamps directly subject to the violation will be confiscated, and the responsible persons will be fined from 1,500 to 2,000 manats, while legal entities will be fined from 4,000 to 5,000 manats.

If the law is adopted, incandescent lamps with a power of 60W or more will be subject to this regulation starting from January 1, 2026, and incandescent lamps with a power between 25W (inclusive) and 60W will be subject to this regulation starting from July 1, 2026.

The draft law has been put to a vote and approved in the third reading.
