More than 40 metro stations will be closed today in Paris, the capital of France, due to expected protests, APA reports, citing the city's public transport operator RATP.
According to the information, the stations will be closed on Saturday at the request of the police prefecture and as part of security measures. Most of them are located in central Paris. Some stations have already suspended operations, while others are expected to close during the day.
It should be noted that mass protests will be held in France today for the third consecutive Saturday. Trade unions, as well as representatives of the Yellow Vests movement, have called for the demonstrations.
