Siyavush Novruzov: â€œJamil Hasanliâ€™s return to Azerbaijan aims to stir up disorderâ€

“Jamil Hasanli wants to make a show and get an asylum abroad. On the eve of the elections, they nominated the candidacy of the person with dual citizenship. In other words, they have no grounds from legal or scientific point of view. In this regard, Jamil Hasanli wants to stir up disorder, face pressures and then leave for the U.S. with Green Card. His card was prepared, when he traveled to London. He has completely changed after returning from London.”

Novruzov also noted that the National Council had not appealed to Baku Mayor’s Office for holding a rally: “There are places in Azerbaijan for holding rallies. Every social organization can hold a protest. According to the law on freedom of assembly, first of all, they must appeal to Baku Mayor’s Office in this regard. But they want to hold a rally at Fountains Square. It is obvious that they were taught to take people to Fountains Square and stir up disorder.”
