Scandal occurs at National Councilâ€™s session, Avaz Temirkhan leaves organization

APA reports that he announced his decision at today's session of the National Council.

Temirkhan suggested removing the issue on ALP Leader Lale Shovkat’s resignation from the list of organizational issues.

Jamil Hasanli said that some persons make statement that they are not members of the National Council: “Our duty is to confirm their resignation.”

Lawyer Huseyn Huseynov said that some parties join the National Council publicizing it, while leave without naming. Temirkhan objected to these words and it resulted in a dispute.

Temirkhan said that Lala Shovkat resigned due to the hostility within the National Council. He also announced his resignation and left the session.

ALP Leader Lale Shovkat resigned from the National Council on the eve of the presidential elections.
