APA reports that at the meeting, Ahmedov said that due to the upcoming presidential elections, YAP has started holding regular meetings with activists.
Ahmedov said that unambiguously President Ilham Aliyev is the candidate of YAP. He noted all organizations of the party have started preparations for the elections and expressed his confidence that Ilham Aliyev will win the upcoming presidential elections.
“The Azerbaijani people will ensure his victory and the task of our party is to perfectly organize, make contribution to the election campaign. The Azerbaijani people support Ilham Aliyev and want him to be president for the next term. Due to Ilham Aliyev’s activity, people’s social welfare has improved, economy grown by several times. All this has had an influence of the improvement of people’s welfare and the people want to see Ilham Aliyev as president for another five-year term,” he said.
