PACE monitoring co-rapporteur meets leaders of political parties represented in Azerbaijani parliament

Baku. Ramil Mammedli-APA. PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteur Pedro Agramunt has met with leaders of political parties represented in the Azerbaijani parliament.

Chairman of Great Establishment Party Fazil Mustafa told APA that, besides him, deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Mubariz Gurbanli, chairman of Motherland Party Fezail Aghamali, chairman of the Umid (Hope) Igbal Agazadeh, chairman of National Revival Movement Party Faraj Guliyev, chairman of Social Welfare Party Khanhuseyn Kazimli, chairman of Justice Party Ilyas Ismayilov and chairman of Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev also attended the meeting.

They discussed the amendments to the law “On freedom of assembly”, increase of fines, the places allocated for rallies, seats of opposition parties in the parliament, as well as, the Nagorno Kharabakh conflict and the role of PACE in this issue.
