Department chief at Azerbaijani Presidential Administration: â€œThe healthy youth should deal with the upbringing of the radical youthâ€

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. “The Azerbaijani youth should be competitive in the international arena, master the modern development tendency of the world. If the modern young people are not literate, educated, do not know foreign language, they will find it difficult to prevent anti-Azerbaijan activity carried out by some in the international arena. The strategy of modern Azerbaijan state aims to improve the Azerbaijani youth,” chief of socio-political department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said at the event on the 1st anniversary of the Youth Foundation, APA reports.

Ali Hasanov said the Azerbaijani youth should be closely involved in the solution of the state’s problems.

“Unfortunately, during Eurovision Song Contest a group of young people commited actions damaging the image of Azerbaijan. Though there were not many of them, they behaved nastily attempting to hold flashmobs in the center of the city. In stead of promoting Azerbaijan’s music culture, they took the tourists to the suburbs to show them shortcomings,” he said.

Ali Hasanov called on the healthy youth to stand against the radical youth.

“The healthy youth should care for the state, nation. The healthy youth should stand against few, but active young people in the social networks, demonstrations. The healthy youth should deal with the upbringing of the radical youth. Invite them to your events, do not isolate them, exchange views with them, explain them the mission, role of the youth. The Azerbaijani youth is able to cope with some young people, who have gone wrong, and to decently represent Azerbaijan,” he said.
