According to the president, "the provision of these apartments and the construction of buildings are unique eventS." "As far as I know, Azerbaijan is the only country in the former Soviet Union, which carries out such a strong social policy in this area. As for the provision of cars, anywhere except of Azerbaijan, such initiatives are not put forward. Up today, more than 3,500 of our citizens received free cars from the state. Azerbaijan will continue the state policy in this field. Our strong social policy covers all the spheres. Increasing salaries and pensions, social allowances year by year, at the same time returning Soviet time deposits to citizens this year in the form of compensation show the strength of our social policy. At the same time, provision of apartments to the families of those who became martyrs for their motherland and country, to our compatriots who lost their health shows the correctness our state policy.
We will continue to do everything possible to solve the welfare problems of our compatriots who is in need and worthy of great respect and assessment. You deserve it, you've lost your loved ones, your health," said the President.
The President noted that Azerbaijan’s economic weight is growing. "All issues facing the country are solved, and huge investments are done. This year, the economy of the country was invested over $ 20 billion. We have specific plans to ensure the dynamic development of the economy in the future. At the end of next year the second part of the State Program on socio-economic development of regions will be completed. Then, in the beginning of 2014, we will adopt a new program; the completion of this program may increase the economic opportunities of Azerbaijan, at least twice."
President Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijani society appreciates people who became martyrs and lost their health for Azerbaijan.
“We are proud of you. The young people should also be proud of you. In the education of our young generation in the spirit of patriotism, the role of people like you is very high. I really want you to meet with youth frequently, to hold meetings in schools and higher education institutions.
Azerbaijani society appreciates you. Azerbaijani government appreciates your selflessness. The ceremonies taking place in different parts of our country are good example and reflection for this”, said President Aliyev.
