Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. The proposal of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) to exclude the article limiting election of one person as president more than twice from the Constitution, will be discussed at the joint meeting of the parliament’s standing commission on legal policy and statehood and standing commission on human rights, Chairperson of the Parliament’s Standing Commission on Human Rights Rabiyyat Aslanova told APA. Aslanova said Speaker Ogtay Asadov had given instruction to analyse the proposal and added that the parliament would discuss not only the presidential term, but also the proposals on constitutional reforms.
Following the discussions, the proposals will be submitted to the Parliament’s leadership.
