Azerbaijan’s Electoral Code amended

APA reports that chairman of the parliament’s Standing Commission on Legal Policy and Statehood Ali Huseynov gave information about the bill. Huseynov said the proposed amendment was of technical character. According to the amendment, election commissions are given the right to appeal to court and law-enforcement bodies in connection with the candidates without appealing to the Central Election Commission.
MPs Igbal Agazadeh, Panah Huseyn and Arzu Samadbayli objected to the proposal.
