YAP leadership visits Heydar Aliyevâ€™s grave

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. The leadership of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) visited Heydar Aliyevâ€™s grave in Honor Alley on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his death. APA reports that following this YAP leadership held a commemorative event. Book â€œEbediyyet dastaniâ€ (Eternity saga) by poet Zalimkhan Yagub was presented at the event. Actors of Azerbaijan State Academic National Theater performed extracts from the book. Deputy chairman, executive secretary of YAP Ali Ahmadov said Azerbaijani people were following Heydar Aliyevâ€™s way. He underlined that Heydar Aliyevâ€™s grave in Honor Alley had become a sacred place for people.

Parliamentarian Fettah Heydarov spoke about his acquaintance with Heydar Aliyev, his positive features, the work he had done. Fettah Heydarov said Heydar Aliyev had served the people all his life.

Academician Vasim Mammadaliyev, chairman of parliamentâ€™s commission Shamsaddin Hajiyev and others also addressed the event.

Zalimkhan Yagub said sagas were written only about genii. He noted that many sagas would be written about Heydar Aliyev.
â€œEbediyet dastaniâ€ is my first saga about Heydar Aliyev. I will write such sagas till the end of my life, because there is much to be written about Heydar Aliyev,â€ he said.
