Opposition lawsuit against Baku City Executive Power rejected

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. Sabayel District Court rejected the lawsuit raised by the parties of Opposition Cooperation Center against the Baku City Executive Power, head of the Musavat Partyâ€™s central executive office Arif Hajili told APA. The decision was announced at the court session on Thursday under the chairmanship of Judge Elnur Hasanov. The Court considered the opposition partiesâ€™ lawsuit groundless. Hajili said they would appeal on the court decision.
The OCC parties planned to hold two protest actions on the eve of the presidential elections, but Baku City Executive Power didnâ€™t allow them to hold actions where they wanted and provided them with venue at the Bibiheybat Stadium. The oppositionist refused to gather at the stadium and complained to the court.

Musavat, Peopleâ€™s Front, Citizen and Development, Liberal parties and Public Forum for Azerbaijan are united in the Opposition Cooperation Council.
