Azerbaijan Democratic Party: â€œRussia once more demonstrated that it backs all the separatist conflicts in the post-Soviet areaâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadi â€“ APA. Some opposition parties of Azerbaijan discussed the war between Georgia and Russia. Musavat Partyâ€™s press service told APA that the party leadership condemned Russiaâ€™s aggressive policy at the meeting. Musavat demanded withdrawal of Russian troops from the conflict zone, deployment of international peacekeeping forces in the territory and settlement of the problem in line with the international legal norms and within the framework of Georgiaâ€™s territorial integrity.

Management Board of Azerbaijan Democratic Party made a statement on the situation and criticized Russia. ADP considers that Russia once more demonstrated that it backs all the separatist conflicts in the post-Soviet area. The party called on Russia to refrain from its empire ambitions, respect sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of former Soviet republics.

Political Board of Azerbaijan National Independence Party condemned Russiaâ€™s actions and regarded them as interference with the internal affairs of Georgia.
