Security Minister Eldar Mahmudov receives Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijanâ€™s Security Minister, lieutenant-general Eldar Mahmudov received Turkeyâ€™s new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador to Azerbaijan Huseyn Avni Qarsioglu at his request, the ministryâ€™s public relations centre told the APA.
The Minister stressed the dynamic development of cooperation between special service bodies of both countries, struggle against international terrorism, illegal drug turnover, illegal migration and other spheres. Mahmudov noted that though the ambassador has taken up his position recently, he tries to contribute to the development of friendship, partnership, scientific and cultural relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Huseyn Avni Qarsioglu said that he will do his best for strengthening relations between the two countries. He noted that the positions of our countries on observing immunity and territorial integrity of states and the struggle against terrorism and extremism coincide. /APA/
