Public Chamber decides to hold rally in front of the Parliament

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Today, Coordination Council of the Public Chamber held an extraordinary meeting. Member of the Council Edalat Yusubov told APA that the meeting focused on amendments offered for the law on Freedom of Assembly at the Parliament and the Council assessed it as a ban on freedom of assembly. In this regard, the Coordination Council decided to hold rally on November 2 in front of the Parliament.
The Council has also made a statement on the rally.
Yusubov noted that on October 29, the Council would appeal to Baku City Executive Power due to the action: ‘We insist on holding the rally and irrespective of position of the executive power, we will hold the rally’.
