Meeting with chairmen of some opposition parties held in US embassy

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. US ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar has met with chairmen of the 10 opposition parties today.

APA reports that chairmen of APFP, Liberal, Citizens and Development, Civil Solidarity, Open Society, Democrat, Umid (Hope), Musavat, Liberal Democrat and Classic People’s Front parties participated in the meeting.

The meeting was held on the US ambassadorâ€™s initiative and aimed to get acquainted. Socio-political processes, the government-opposition relations and election environment in the country, including issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
