Musavat Party releases statement on keeping of Nigar Yagublu under detention

Baku. Sahriyar Alizadeh – APA. Musavat Party released a statement on the decision made by the Court that didn’t sustain Nigar Yugublu’s appeal.

Press service of the Party told APA that during the process it was recorded that the number of appeals submitted to the court from different layers of the society increased doubts on the case and that it has more political character.

The party considers the government bodies which behave as an initiator of a dialog with political parties and which intended to sign a joint agreement with “Musavat” party in the direction of solving the recent problems over Ramil Safarov’s extradition and his pardoning should not punish a young woman with such a way that would never be imposed in such cases.

Musavat Party demanded to change the conditions in the correctional facility where Nigar Yagublu is being kept. Musavat Party together with its alley declared that it has started the struggle for her liberation and would make all efforts for Nigar Yagublu’s release using all possible methods and means in accordance with State’s Constitution and the legislation.
