Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan sent a congratulation letter to the Jewish community. APA reports quoting AzerTAc that the letter reads:

Dear fellow countrymen!

Let me warmly congratulate you on the Jewish New Year holiday of Rosh Hashanah and wish all of you the best. Being an integral part of multi-ethnic and multi-confessional Azerbaijani society, our Jewish citizens have been for hundreds years living in peaceful coexistence, friendly and fraternal relations in our country, preserving their language and culture, customs and traditions, also are actively involved in socio-political life of Azerbaijan. Noteworthy is that the Jewish community has its special role in the ongoing processes of building a free and civil society in the country, demonstrating active citizenship, the community does everything to bring the Azerbaijani realities to the world community.

Officially marked in the country every year, the Rosh Hashanah holiday embodies renewal, moral and spiritual purity. Once again I congratulate you on this remarkable holiday, and wish happiness to each of you, abundance to your families.
