Members of Islamic Party and one group of religious persons attempt to held protest action outside Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan

APA reports that the attemps of the activist, who tried to organize a protest action outside the building of Israeli embassy, were prevented by the police. The chairman of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan Haji Elchin Manafov, the partyâ€™s deputy chairman on social affairs Akif Heydarli and the chairman of Sumgayit City Committee Vugar Iboyev were detained during the action.

The detained persons were delivered to Yasamal District Police Office. â€œJerusalem bug offâ€, â€œKarabakh and Jerusalim are under occupationâ€, â€œOccupation regimes must be shamedâ€, Israel, sionism beat it from Azerbaijanâ€ and other logans were sounded during the action. The activists were not permitted to read the resolution of the action.

Today the members of IPA and one group of religious persons held a peaceful action in the Alley of Martyrs. The activits visited the Alley of Matryts and recited office in the memory of the martyrs during the action. The resolution demands the realization of 181, 242, 298, 338 and 446 numeral UN resolutions dealing with the liberation of Palestinian lands by Israel.
