Almuran Aliyev demands serious investigation of Abulfaz Elchibayâ€™s death causes

A.Aliyev said that despite of he didnâ€™t believe in poisoning version, he wants to see the result of this research: I havenâ€™t been called to the investigation office yet, but the members of investigation group talked with meâ€.

He told that he demanded that the death causes of A.Elchibay would be researched in a serious form: â€œIt would be better if this case will be investigated in the court. Ali Karimli spoke with me about this issue. In any case, I will meet with Ali Karimli at the ceremony devoted to the 20th anniversary of A.Elchibays death that will be held on August 20â€.

Note that â€œNew Musavat party spread the information on the beginning of criminal case dealing with death of A.Elchibay because of poisoning. The news says that the criminal investigation is carried out by Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office on the base of Hafiz Hajiyevâ€™s appeal. Near persons of A.Elchibay have been already interrogated during the investigation. The news was also confirmed by Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office.

H.Hajiyev suspects that A.Elchibay was poisoned by the chairman of APFP A.Karimli.

A.Elchibay died in Turkeyâ€™s hospital in August, 2000, where he was medically treated.
