President Ilham Aliyev participates in groundbreaking ceremony of Youth Centre in Lankaran

Head of State was informed that the total area of further-constructed Youth Centre will be 1 ha, but the construction area will be 850 sq. m. A large reconstruction work will be carried out there. All the conditions will be created in two-storey building for students to spend effectively their leisure time.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the Youth Centre. Head of State gave instructions and advice on construction work.

President of Azerbaijan was also familiarized with a newly-constructed residential complex in Lankaran. He was informed that the complex consists of 14 seven-storey buildings. There are 133 flats, including five one-room, 5 two-room, 49 three-room, 29 four-room and 45 five-room flats. 2.39 ha were allocated for residential complex with total area of 20,941 sq. m.

President Aliyev also visited the Flag Square in Lankaran, which is a sign of great respect of the national flag. The construction of the square started in May, 2012. It is located at the Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Lankaran city. The flagâ€™s altitude is 70 m, length â€“ 20 m, width â€“ 10m. The national anthem and emblem were engraved on the marble plinth.

Then President Aliyev looked at the new projects on the development of Lankaran city. Head of State highly appreciated the work done in the Flag Square and gave instructions and advice.
