GUAM opposition partiesâ€™ Coordination Council established

Four opposition parties representing GUAM countries decided to establish their Coordination Council, Political Movement Azerbaijanâ€™s Path chairman Ilgar Gasimov told APA.
He said that the council is composed of Political Movement Azerbaijanâ€™s Path Party, Ukraine Progressive Socialist Party, Georgian Justice Party and Moldavian â€œPatria-Rodinaâ€? Party. Ilgar Gasimov was chosen a chairman of the council. He said that they discussed Nagorno Karabakh conflict at the preliminary session. The council members protested against the offer concerning constitutional referendum in Karabakh.
â€œThe Nagorno Karabakh conflict is better to be considered as Armenian aggression to Azerbaijanâ€?, he noted. The situation of freedom of speech in Azerbaijan was also discussed at the session. Ilgar Gasimov said that any party of the countries can be a member of the organization. The statue says the Coordination Council session should be held at least twice a year. Baku will host the next session. /APA/
