It is the first time that Azeri diplomatâ€™s wife was chosen a member of UN Womenâ€™s Guild Presidium, MFA information service told APA.
This is Azerbaijani ambassador counselor to Austria Gunduz Jafarovâ€™s wife Lala Jafarova.
38th charity event â€œInternational Marketâ€? organized by UN Womenâ€™s Guild was held in â€œAustria Centerâ€?, Vienna. The aim of annual charity is to aid children in need all over the world. Different countries show a number of programs and their national meals. A number of Azerbaijani national souvenirs and meals and sweets were displayed and offered for sale at the initiative of Azerbaijani embassy.
For the first time Azeri representative Lala Jafarova was chosen the chairman of the next â€œInternational Marketâ€? to be held in 2007. /APA/
