Azerbaijani President visits Museum of Personalities and inaugurates Chess School in Khachmaz

President was informed that the museum was founded in 2006. There were busts of 15 outstanding persons in the museum in that time. The open-air museum was reconstructed and developed in 2010. The monument to great poet of Azerbaijan Nizami Gandjavi and busts of 39 well-known Azerbaijani poets and writers were erected in the territory of the museum. Five fountains and spring water complex were constructed there.

Head of State highly appreciated the work done there and gave recommendations and instructions.

President Aliyev also attended the inauguration of the Chess School in Khachmaz. Head of State cut a ribbon, which symbolizes official opening of the school.

The Chess School was built in Khachmaz in accordance with the order issued by President Aliyev for the development of chess in Azerbaijan and State Program for the development of chess 2009-2014 in Azerbaijan.

President Aliyev highly appreciated the conditions created in the chess school and gave recommendations and instructions.
