Baku hosts international conference on 20th anniversary of Azerbaijanâ€™s state independence

According to APA, about 300 well-known public and political figures from 58 countries, including members of the European Parliament, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, OSCE, Euronest, parliaments of the European countries, former and incumbent statesmen, Nobel Prize winners, US regional speakers, former Congressmen and Senators, scientists and businessmen, government officials and public and political figures of Azerbaijan are attending the conference.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the conference.

ACSDA chairman, MP Elkhan Suleymanov welcomed the guests and thanked them for their participation. He said participation of the Azerbaijani President in this event is a sign of the stateâ€™s support to the public sector.

Then head of the Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov delivered a speech at the conference. He informed the guests about Azerbaijan.

The conference will be finished on September 24.
