Azerbaijani Presidential Administrationâ€™s Department chief criticizes newspapersâ€™ activity

Now the people believe to information given in TV and radios. A person who reads the same news from the newspaper, donâ€™t believe in that information without hearing it from TV or radioâ€, said Azerbaijani Presidential Administrationâ€™s Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov at the specialized courses on election rights held for the chairmen of District Election Commissions in Central Election Commission, APA reports.

Hasanov said that several newspapers wrote positive or negative information about the same person for material interests. According to him, if they take money from one person and positively characterize him, they wrote against the other person if he doesnâ€™t give them money.

There is newspaper which â€œcapturesâ€ the most important ministries 10 times, and â€œdismissâ€ 15 times, - said Hasanov.

Hasanov said that the law must stand on the basis of every activity. He underlined the importance of transparenceâ€™s maintenance in all activities.

The department chief noted the necessary of newspapersâ€™ right, exact information to the readers.
