Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh addresses international organizations

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Public Union â€œAzerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakhâ€ addressed the international organizations on 18th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy, the Union members said at a press conference on Friday, APA reports.

The Public Union noted that Armenian armed forces and 366th infantry regiment committed massacre in Khojaly at night on February 25-26 in Khojaly town of Azerbaijan and killed, took hostage and wounded hundreds of people. â€œIt was genocide, continuation of ethnic cleansing policy committed the Armenian nationalistsâ€, said the petition.

The Public Union demanded liberation of occupied lands in its petition, said the community leader Bayram Safarov.

Head of Khojaly executive power Shahmar Usubov said they would further organize series of events in the different parts of the world and take actions for recognition of the genocide.
