Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Chairman of the Azerbaijan Anti-Torture Committee Elchin Behboudov addressed a letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev asking him for release of arrested bloggers Adnan Hajizadeh and Emin Milli. Behboudov told APA that he noted in the letter important work done by the President for improvement of social and economic conditions of Azerbaijani citizens, protection of human rights and freedoms and development of society as well.
He emphasized in the letter that the President showed great humanism towards the people committed crimes, but repented for it. “Regarding Your humanism, we ask You to take appropriate measures for release of young men Adnan Hajizadeh and Emin (Milli) Abdullayev from the Baku Investigative Isolator of the Azerbaijan Justice Ministry. We consider that making this step, You will one more confirm your humanism and that You are the President of all Azerbaijani citizensâ€.
