President Ilham Aliyev: â€œWe donâ€™t need any foreign aidâ€

As part of his trip, President Ilham Aliyev opened the Heydar Aliyev Center here. After touring the Center, the Head of State met with residents of Goychay region. President Ilham Aliyev praised the improvements and reconstruction work here and wished the locals every success. Besdes it, in the conversation with the representatives of Goychay community, President Ilham Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan doesnâ€™t need any foreign aid, as our country can afford to realize any projects at the expense of its own financial resources.

President Ilham Aliyev inspected the implementation of the water supply and sanitation project in the town of Goychay.

The Azerbaijani Leader opened a pipeline running from artesian wells to water collecting area located in the north of the town.

The Head of State also inaugurated the Goychay Olympic and Sport Complex. He was told the Complex had been provided with modern sport equipment.

The President congratulated athletes on the opening of the Complex and wished them success.
As part of the visit, President Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony of â€œGÃ¶ychay-1â€ small hydroelectric station.

The Head of State ended his visit to Goychay.
