YAP holds conference â€œTransition period is over: Future at a glanceâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) organized a conference entitled â€œTransition period is over: Future at a glanceâ€ on Thursday. According to APA, YAP Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov said the party achieved success in an important socio-political event in the country - municipal elections on December 23. Ahmadov said President Ilham Aliyev declared the transition period was over in Azerbaijan. He said there were serious basis for that. â€œIt shows how sustainable is the Azerbaijanâ€™s economy in the period of global economic crisis. The end of transition period is the beginning of a new stage in the economy and other spheres. This phase has its targets and dutiesâ€.

Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev spoke about the economic achievements in recent years and legal framework.

Executive Director of the Azerbaijan State Oil Fund Shahmar Movsumov and Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Economics Shamsaddin Hajiyev delivered speeches about the economic processes in the country.
