Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s Regional Committee holds meeting

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. The Regional Committee of Azerbaijani parliament has today held a meeting, APA reports. Statute on â€œState registration of municipalities and giving certificates to themâ€ was discussed at the meeting.
Chairman of the committee Arif Rahimzadeh said the Statute determines the rules for registering the municipalities and giving certificates to them in accordance with the law on â€œThe status of municipalitiesâ€. According to him, the appropriate structure of the parliamentâ€™s administration will register the municipalities, give certificates to them.
â€œThe state registration covers the information about the establishment, unification, separation, cancellation of municipalities, change of their number and territory,â€ he said.

It was also said that after the statute is adopted, a special website will be launched and the information about the municipalities will be posted there.

Following the discussions, the document was recommended to the plenary meeting of the parliament.
