Azerbaijanâ€™s National Assembly of Youth Organization issues statement of protest to reportage â€œWinds of change in Nagorno Karabakhâ€ broadcasted on Euronews

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s National Assembly of Youth Organization issued a statement of protest to the reportage titled â€œWinds of change in Nagorno Karabakhâ€ broadcasted on the â€œEuronewsâ€ TV Channel, the assembly told APA. The statement says:
â€œThe National Assembly of Youth Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a youth platform organization consolidating 66 youth organizations of Azerbaijan is expressing its firm protest through this statement against the reportage recently broadcasted on the â€œEuronewsâ€ TV Channel. We are as a youth of Azerbaijan are stating that Karabakh is an ancient inhabitance of Azerbaijanis and is an integral part of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan used to be a house for all nations living in this territory and is going to be a place of living in the future as well.
Unfortunately on the reportage about Karabakh broadcasted on the â€œEuronewsâ€ TV Channel the history of Karabakh, information about the reason of the conflict were presented in distorted form, the existing realities were in preconceived way. We consider that such kind of unfair and preconceived approach is against the character of existing relations between Azerbaijan and European countries and is not serving to the strengthening of mutual trust.
This reportage is proving the double standard based approach of the â€œEuronewsâ€ TV Channel and such approach is creating obstacles in provision of fundamental values like human rights and democracy.â€
