Mubariz Gurbanli offers to adopt law on occupied territories
Fazil Mustafa said the demolition of mosques should be stopped and underlined the necessity of involving political parties in the process of negotiations on Nagorno Karabakh.
Zahid Oruj said unique position should be demonstrated on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, everybody should unite around president and support his decisions.
Gudrat Hasanguliyev protested against critical remarks in media on Azerbaijan-Russia approximation.
“Even if Azerbaijan asks, it will not be admitted to NATO. But we can reach an agreement with Russia, become a member of Collective Security Treaty Organization and deploy Russian military bases in our territory. International organizations, states state that Azerbaijani territories have been occupied, but they do not recognize Armenia as an aggressor state. Moreover, America helps Nagorno Karabakh separatists and Section 907 has not been repealed,†he said.
Mubariz Gurbanli said no one must use Nagorno Karabakh problem to draw a political dividend. He mentioned that 17,000 sq km area of Azerbaijan had been occupied. He offered to adopt a special law on the occupied territories and ban functioning of international organizations in these territories.
Igbal Agazadeh said the oppositionists nominated for municipalities undergo pressure.
“Some persons here invited Russia to Azerbaijan. Do we want them to commit new tragedies in Azerbaijan? Russia stirred up the conflicts in CIS. Foreign Minister should make a report in the parliament concerning the negotiations,†he said.
Sabir Rustamkhanli noted that Turkish media and public know more about the Karabakh negotiations than the Azerbaijani media and public know.
“Why do the Turkish parliamentarians know more about the negotiations?†he said.
