Leaders of Movement for Karabakh and Republic meet with head of OSCE Office in Baku and representatives of European Commission

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Leaders of the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic met with Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel and representatives of the European Commission. Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told APA they had discussed socio-political situation in Azerbaijan on the eve of municipal elections, participation of opposition in the elections and preparations for the elections. The movement leaders told the international organizations that six opposition parties intended to participate in the elections. The opposition draft for amendments to the Electoral Code was submitted to the European diplomats. Jalaloglu said they emphasized the importance of parity of law amendments and formation of election commissions. â€œThey said that they had own programs and followed it in their activityâ€.

ADR Chairman Sardar Jalaloglu, AXCP Chairman Ali Karimli, Musavat Partyâ€™s leader Isa Gambar, ALP leader Lala Shovkat, VIP Chairman Ali Aliyev and Umid Partyâ€™s Chairman Igbal Aghazadeh attended the meeting.
