Department chief of Presidential Administration: â€œI believe all political forces will participate in municipal elections in Azerbaijanâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œThe socio-political situation is stable in Azerbaijan in the past ten years. The disciplinary was restored in all layers of societyâ€, said chief of the public policy department of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, APA reports. The department chief spoke about the municipal elections to be held in December and said there was a stability and legal activity of the public and political organizations in the country. â€œTherefore the municipal elections will be held under the circumstances of stable competition. The municipalities will be formed according to the votersâ€™ willâ€.

Regarding the participation of political parties in the elections, Hasanov said he believed all political forces would participate in the municipal elections. â€œI donâ€™t see any prospect for the parties not participated in the elections. If the political party refuses to participate in the local elections and activities of citizens, how it can meet voters in the presidential and parliamentary elections?â€
