Azerbaijani President acquaints himself with sketch of overhaul in State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater

Baku â€“ APA. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva acquainted themselves with the sketch of the overhaul in Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. The sketch of the first stage of the overhaul was presented to the President and the First Lady.

The sketch has been made by Italyâ€™s Ekstra Company and United Administration of Facilities under Construction of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the samples of Italian-made construction materials and the project model. They were told that the building, stage, audience hall will be overhauled, additional administrative building will be built. Italian professionals will be invited to reconstruct the hall and stage. The stage will be made basing on the most modern technologies, acoustic system will be in line with modern standards, the equipment will be bought from the most famous companies of the world.

Ilham Aliyev viewed the video describing the theater after the overhaul.

The initial project will be improved within six months and the overhaul will begin after that.

The head of state gave instructions concerning the overhaul.
