Nazim Ibrahimov: â€œAzerbaijan will contribute to the solution of world problems through dialogue with the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum Azerbaijanâ€

I consider that the forum being held for the second time is a very important event in the political life of Azerbaijan,” Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora, member of Board of Directors of Nizami Ganjavi International Center Nazim Ibrahimov told APA.

Ibrahimov noted that a number of prominent public figures, politicians, scientists, political experts are taking part in the forum and most of them have a direct role in contemporary world politics ands evaluation of many regional processes: “Relevance and contents of the issues to be discussed make participation of such influential persons necessary. Today’s urgent and important issues like the method of resolving conflicts in complex situations, coverage, foundations and economic basis of open societies, need for multi-governance and institutional framework for ensuring sustainable development process will be discussed at the forum.”

Ibrahimov added that recent complicated processes in modern world politics, situations arising from the collision of strategic interests make it necessary to hold such international meetings: “We think that this event will play a special role in solving world’s political problems through mutual cooperation and dialogue. Azerbaijan, as a state that is pursuing deliberate policy will contribute to the solution of problems through dialogue and mutual cooperation. Another important point is that the forum is of great importance in terms of strengthening the authority of Azerbaijan in the world and promoting it as a state which appreciates political dialogue and international legal norms. Because, more than 150 guests from over 50 countries will take part in this forum and Azerbaijan will take new steps forward in the direction of making new friends.
