Asim Osmanov, first secretary for consular affairs of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, told APA that the body of Azad Valiyev, who was killed one month ago, was so unrecognizable that his family was able to identify him only from the clothes he had on.
Osmanov said the body was handed over for examination and would be sent to Azerbaijan after a precise answer from examination.
“His family told me the incident had possibly taken place in early October. Only bones have been left over from the body. His relatives could recognize him from the remains of the clothes on him”.
Valiyev was the first Azerbaijani deputy for Luhansk provincial in 2006-2010.
Note that, Valiyev had been reported to be missing a while ago.
